Now that it is officially the New Year, I can embrace the longing for spring. I tried to ignore it during the holidays, but now that the magic of all that is over I have nothing to distract me from the fact that I wish it were warm and winter was done. This is further complicated by the fact that we are in the middle of Winter Storm Hercules which is dropping inch after fluffy inch on us. Maybe it will be a short winter, spring will bloom early and everything will warm up and turn green before we even know it, I guess I can dream.
